‘Take Me Away’ Album Review

DJ Grocery is back with another great song off of his forthcoming album titled “Take Me Away”. It’s about time that he brought back the retro sound that made him famous in the first place, now with even more modernistic production techniques that will have people taking notice. DJ Grocery has always had an adventurous sound to his songs, but with his new single he’s taken it to a whole other level. His voice alone is enough to get people into a dancing mood, but when he throws on a beat that really drives the point home, the whole room can’t help but get into the music and get hyped. In case you haven’t listened to it yet, “Take Me Away” is worth the cover alone, so you definitely need to check it out.

This track stands out amongst the rest of the album because it doesn’t sound repetitive. The drums sound like drums, but then the synths and guitars build up and keep the song going. It’s a perfect mix and this is one song we should be listening to right now. The whole thing just drifts by, until it’s time for the next section, which is again catchy but not the bombastic kind you usually hear from DJ Grocery. “Take Me Away” definitely packs a powerful punch, as you can tell from the very beginning how intense everything becomes towards the end.

If you like what you hear, you can pre-order your copy today via iTunes and get it sent directly to your doorstep.
