DJ Moore – The Most Underrated Wide Receiver in the NFL

DJ Moore is a talented wide receiver in the NFL. In his freshman season, he played in all 12 games and made 10 starts. He tied for the team lead in touchdown receptions with three and was second in catches with twenty-five. Moore caught a pass in eight straight games and in eleven of his 12 games that season. His career highlights include a 42-yard TD reception against Bowling Green and catching three passes for 47 yards against USF.

A wide receiver who has been named the most underrated player in the NFL by Torrey Smith, DJ Moore has had three straight 1,100-yard seasons. Whether he’s getting the ball over the middle or catching the ball in the backfield, Moore is a bright spot on the Panthers’ offense. In fact, he signed a three-year extension this offseason, which is indicative of his growing importance in the Carolina Panthers’ offense.

Moore has been a bright spot for a young Panthers team. Now, he’s locked down for several years, which gives him security in dynasty leagues. Even if Carolina’s quarterback situation improves, Moore should remain a top receiving option. Moore’s upside might be limited a bit, but he’s a good long-term investment. He’s a WR2 option with one year left on his rookie contract.
