DJ Wings Jackson is a well-known figure in the hip hop community. He is a product of Chicago, Illinois and is a well respected personality in the industry. Many people believe him to be the best producer in hip hop music, though his major influences were from New York and Los Angeles. His first album ‘Eternals’ was produced by Kanye West and features many guest stars including Jay-Z, Big Daddy Kane and Capoerista. This album remains a high water mark in the career of DJ Wings and has since gone back to number one on the charts.
The album was produced by the well-respected horn player/composer Scott Storch. The single ‘Eternals’ featured guest appearances by the likes of Kanye West and Jay-Z. It also featured the single ‘Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely’, which was produced by Pharrell Williams. Both these songs went to number one in both the UK and the US.
DJ Wings quickly moved from the singles to full length albums after the success of ‘Eternals’. One of his first full length album was called ‘LPV’. While it did not receive very good reviews, it was still an album worth looking at. In 2021 he released ‘The Mural Sessions’, which was again produced by Kodek. It was very successful, but didn’t do quite as well as the prior albums.
